About Us

Journey is a leading hotel marketing agency, revolutionising the luxury hospitality and travel industry through creativity, incomparable industry knowledge, and digital disruption. Working with the best luxury hotels and resorts in the world, empowering growth and increasing revenue through innovation, collaboration, and technology solutions.

Before we get started, there are three things you need to know.

At Journey, we will always have an entrepreneurial spirit. We started off as a team of six and have never forgotten our humble roots. To thrive you will need to embrace this mindset. We all roll up our sleeves, we help each other out, we admit if we are struggling, we lean on one another and we leave ego at the door. That is very important.

Everyone plays a part. We are a business of collaboration and sharing, be it ideas, time, skills, knowledge, energy or snacks...we are in it together. Our clients are considered part of our business and we treat them with the same inclusive respect and consideration.

We are offering a 3–4 month fixed-term contract, ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience while studying marketing or related courses, who already possesses some strong customer service or admin experience.

What you'll do

As a Junior Account Executive, you’ll support the Account Management Team in the day-to-day running of luxury hotel client accounts. This is a short-term, fixed-term role designed to provide essential support to the team, helping to keep work flowing smoothly and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

While this role is less client-facing, it offers real, hands-on exposure to digital marketing in action. You’ll gain insight into how campaigns are planned and delivered, how different teams collaborate, and how strong account management drives results.

  • Support the day-to-day running of client accounts, helping to keep projects moving and ensuring the team is always one step ahead

  • Be part of client and internal meetings, capturing key points and turning them into clear next steps for the team

  • Work closely with Digital, Content, and Studio teams, gaining exposure to how different specialisms come together to deliver campaigns

  • Keep a close eye on the progress of work across accounts, helping to spot gaps, flag delays, and keep everything on track

  • Play a key role in keeping client accounts organised, ensuring information, updates, and activity are always accurate and easy to access

  • Get hands-on with website updates and content changes, building practical experience with live client platforms

  • Support the team in preparing for campaigns, launches, and key moments across client activity

What you'll bring

Skills & Experience:

  • Some experience in an administrative, customer service, or team support role (preferred, not essential)

  • Comfortable using digital tools, systems, and platforms (ideally Mac)

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and get stuck in

  • Interest in digital marketing, hospitality, or agency environments
